Some may be more suited for beginners than others, so read the information on each one, review the individual product pages and you will surely find the right one for you. These are all great packages for learning the piano!
MY FIRST CHOICE AND RECOMMENDATION
ROCKET PIANO - The Ultimate Piano Learning Kit
If you want to learn to play the piano, Rocket Piano learning software is from the makers of Jamorama, the smash hit guitar learning software, and created by Ashleigh Southam, an expert pianist of all forms of piano music, especially jazz piano. The Rocket Piano software is every bit as good as any piano learning software on the market today. When it comes to how to play piano learning resources, Rocket Piano is in my opinion, the best choice at a bargain price. The content within this package is very easy to understand, and without a doubt the most thorough piano lessons I have seen all in one convenient package. Rocket Piano is top notch when it comes to an interactive piano tutorial.
From beginning to end, Ashleigh Southam will guide you through what I think is the easiest and best way to learn piano, in the best piano learning software available. Rocket teaches you all the steps from the ground up about playing piano, from novice to the more advance piano players looking for a refresher course.
It’s a very comprehensive course, covering all the needed topics, with 139 sound, song and video files, 4 software games and 3 high quality piano lesson books. Rocket Piano is easy to understand no matter what age you are and Ashleigh Southam has gone to great lengths to ensure that you find learning the piano fun! This piano lesson course is awesome!
MY SECOND CHOICE
Another really awesome piano package! Personally, I think this is just about as good as the first package I reviewed above.
Piano By Pattern teaches not only the basic elements of how to play piano, but all the way through to some pretty advanced techniques as well, but not before you're ready. The package lets you learn and play at your own pace. Piano By Pattern will teach you everything from beginning to end, and it doesn't even expect you to study piano for more than 10 minutes a day! How awesome is that? Furthermore, the author of the course, Albert Edge, gives a money-back guarantee if you're not satisfied with it. It's a very good and inexpensive way to learn how to play a piano in a short amount of time.
MY THIRD CHOICE
Once again I really don't want to call this #3, because it is also one of the best and most popular pieces of piano learning material available. This package comes with a high quality keyboard and everything. Like Rocket Piano, this is also a fun video game that is more than just a game! You will learn how to play the piano without even realizing you're learning! I've personally enjoyed this piano learning package as much as I enjoy many video games. The course gives easy step-by-step instruction from start to finish, using color-coded keys on the keyboard that coincides with color coded notes on the screen. Again, you learn at your own pace with this software also.
This package comes with MANY midi songs that can be played on a keyboard, and the software is VERY configurable. In fact, you can find even more songs to play on one of the Piano Wizard websites.
